A design by Hitesh Panchal was drawn for the contest held by Citroen and Royal College of Art, which set students a task to create new aesthetics for Citroen.

Fashionista is aimed at a female audience, especially the same-named new social group which is gradually growing, this group refers to sexy, self-confident attention-seekers, who are completely sure about what to wear and how to wear it. These are the merits the concept was based on.

The Citroen Fashionista sporting an asymmetric design was developed in the image and likeness of a one sleeve open shoulder dress: the right side of the vehicle is all enclosed bodywork while the left side is temptingly transparent. Such an appearance is to create a mystical and seductive atmosphere around the vehicle and its owner. The lights and front grille have been concealed by Panchal, so the car could differ more from its petrol siblings.
