Two preseries models – Honda Civic sedan and coupe – have made their debut in Detroit. Their launch is assigned to be even this spring.

As we can see, there are no sharp distinctions in design between the concepts and current production cars. Although only two models are shown here – coupe and sedan – the first one is being sold only in the States, the second one differs from the European model in only the bumpers.

Ninth generation Honda Civic's will get a more complicated shape of bumper and mirror; the body must become more dynamic by sight because of the sharp beltline.  Will all those innovations make the Civic better? It will be clear from live production cars, which are going to come out within next few months.

For the moment we are waiting for the new Civic hatchback, which is probably going to be more pronounced than other cars of the brand.
