A compact mid-engined coupe named 4C was shown by Alfa Romeo. The concept is designed in the typical for current Alfas style – only hidden A-pillars and mat paint were unexpected. The 4C’s body is made from carbon and aluminium, and the 4-cylinder (and that’s the root of the title) turbocharged engine with 1750 cm3 produces 200 hp. Combined with the moderate weight the engine provides great aerodynamics: the car reaches a hundred in less than 5 seconds with a top speed of 250 km/h. A great controllability is supported by correct weight distribution and double wishbone suspension.

It has not unveiled yet whether the car will go to the assembly line or no, however putting such car into the production program would be quite a logical move for the company – after all the mid-engined coupe is being prepared by the relative brand Abarth as well.
