Jaguar has prepared another version of the XK – the XKR-S. The creators call it “the most powerful fast road-ready Jaguar ever”, apparently, they had forgotten about the XJ220 supercar. Apart from excellent specifications the car is outwardly interesting: it has new lights, bumper, and wings with horizontal cuts – and the current XK seems to try the same, too.

The XKR-S is equipped with the V8 turbocharged engine which was developed to 550 hp – more than the usual XKR (510 hp) and even more than the limited-edition XKR 75 (530 hp). The Fastest Jaguar Ever goes up to 96 km/h in 4.2 seconds with a top speed of 300 km/h. It is funny to hear the creators boasting of the ecological capability: CO2 emission is less than 300 g/km – the best index in the class! (for a compact hatchback a good result is about 100 g/km).

The XKR-S premiere is taking place, of course, at the Geneva Motor Show on 1 March. Then the additional photos will appear.
