The Soul first came off the assembly line in 2009, and now it is ready to show off its new facelifted version. Yes, now the Soul has direct injection and 6-speed drivetrain. And yes, the car looks better now.

The design changes are minimal, but make the car look tougher and higher-grade, which is now Kia’s general intention. The revamp brought new LED-decorated headlamps of a more complicated shape, new hood, grille and bumpers, and the rear lighting has now became LED, too.

The main new thing is a 1.6 l GDI engine developing 136 hp. It consumes 8.4 l per hundred in the city and 6.9 l on a highway. The gearbox, as it was mentioned, is 6-speed either manual or automatic.
