This was planned in 1984 to be built with aircraft quality 'honeycomb' composite material for rigidity.
Norton built the FI and Interpol instead.
The finest frame builder of the day JGS (regarded by those who know as superior to Spondon and even Bimota) was available at the time, but returned to NZ to work on the 'Britten' and race cars.
OK for a design nearly 30 yrs. old.

If I remember correctly the Vtwin engine is derived from an old military pushrod ohv, but still going strong and looking good. Do they still pull to one side when moving off or has that been sorted?
It's been quite a few years since I had the pleasure of riding a Guzzi.

To the untrained eye a little ordinary commuter, but to me most probably the most important motorcycle for decades.

When I first looked at this bike I didn't like it. Sorry. However, on closer and more focussed scrutiny I get it. Maybe the tail section needs something more.
